I have not done a outreach summary for quite a while as you all know. This does not by any means mean we have been slack in the witness commission. We have had an exciting summer and attended many, many events. Hundreds of thousands of people have heard the Word of salvation through this ministries efforts of all of you faithful and true servants to the Lord Jesus Christ. In unity and singleness of purpose we will continue to press toward to goal of the high call of God in Christ Jesus obeying the commandment of our God as true soldiers of Christ to go, breaking down the gates of Hell and setting the captives free…Amen!?

Outreach October 27th

Saturday we did a split afternoon, take a break and go late evening hit. And it was awesome! Thousands heard as we preached and bannered, P/W and tracking @ Westlake Center. Seven of us (two new sowers, Jim and Cecilia) made it down at 2:00 and to my great delight and the Lords, we met two new brothers in the Lord that were already there. Passing tracks and witnessing WOTM. Benjamin and Len are their names some that made nine. People had organized a type of choreography with people dressed as dead zombies at the Park. We bannered and tract till it was over. Spiritually the witness was a little oppressed but nothing like it used to be. We went to the open air and right off the go the Holy Ghost moved and took dominion on the Mall. Hundreds of people walking by and milling around listening. Sitting in the Starbuck area and up high on the balcony of the Mall hearing the Gospel in full. It was good to be back down there again and establish the presence of the Holy Spirit. God so loves to see His name proclaimed in all the earth. He blesses in abundance and is eager to move in the hearts of those who will inherit eternal life with Him. We moved down to the corner of 3rd and Pine and preached. Myself and Tom taking turns with the TEAM P/W and tracking. We had lots of conversation with conviction and with it opposition, but Gods Word does not come back void and the ground at Westlake was plowed and planted with the faithful message.
At 5:30 or so we took a break and went in the Mall and got a bite to eat, rested, prayed then headed down to the Showbox to meet the guest for the Helloween Costume Party.
We packed all a gear down to 1st and Pike and set up shop. Business was open and we preached. Scotty joined us, along with Mike, and Lazaro made it down. Praise God reinforcements! The Word went out with power and Gods authority. Lazaro took the pulpit throne and he was primed to proclaim. We took to corners and with good acoustics the sound of the Gospel went out and up into the open air! The TEAM tracted and witnessed, there was no one coming threw for two blocks that didn’t hear the message. Closer to 8:00 people started to gather @ the Showbox so we moved down right in front! The righteous are as bold as a Lion and with the power of the Holy Ghost moving there is no fear. More and more people started to show up in there costumes of the dead We preached righteousness and sin calling them to turn from their idolatry, drunkenness and fornications to the living God! Gnashing of teeth was a plenty. Along with some conviction. Some people were gathering on the sidewalk to listen and across the street as well. Two guys very angry showed up said they lived two blocks over somewhere up in a tower building and said they could hear us all the way over there. I said Praise God! I wonder how many others were hearing the Word of God from their apartments! He said he was a Christian of course and rebuked me for preaching and the with the devils lying tongue said we were pushing people away. He said he was gonna call the cops I said go ahead!. He did, waited for half an hour for them to show up. The cops came said we couldn’t use amplification, I shook his hand said thank you officer and they left. And so did the devil mad as a hornet! We continued to preach standing on both sides of the sidewalk as the walking dead came through the middle of us we preached and tracted. Lots of witnessing one-2-ones. It was awesome! People didn’t know what was going down till they were in the middle and was having the WORD shoved down their throats! Amen open wide! Those the were suppose to hear did. I know their was salvation All God needs is willing bold fearless vessels to proclaim and He will use it! Amen! I personally had quite a few 1-two-1’s one with a gay man that I believe had already been touched buy the LORD and was living in frustration over his inability to overcome his sin. Which what ever it may be we never even spoke of. We talked for a good 20 min. and I encouraged him to stay the course and fight the fight and no matter what never give up. Sanctification comes with time and he will with the Lords help will get the victory if he does not quit! I told him he needs to get away from the worldly influences and any thing or people that are hindering rather than helping. He said that was what he was suppose to hear tonight and took off down the street. I yelled I’ll see you there man! And he never even looked back. I had another man come up and ask for a John Gospel after he had listened to the open-air for 20 min. He said he was gonna go read this! In the name of Jesus that guy was touched and he is saved! Gods Word is alive man! And active. God says My zeal will consume them, rest in Me doing the work! This scripture from Acts came to me today and how appropriate Gods Word is always on time and target. Acts 4
1And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
2Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
3And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.
4Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
Howbeit was we went in obedience and preached Jesus like the scriptures say and many of them which heard the word believed! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist just a preacher filled with the Holy Ghost and the BOOK! Amen! Glory to the risen KING! We stuck it out till 11:00 and called it a night and a day. It is such a privilege to be used like this by God. Christians that will not step out into the public square are missing out on the power of God that is unexplainable unless you experience it! I want to thank all that made this outreach and praise God for all you faithful that couldn’t make it. Again we will never know the total impact a bunch of : Acts 4:13 unlearned and ignorant men that have been with Jesus.......
Can accomplish until we are with our Lord in eternity forever. All Glory belongs to God. Until then let us press on, fight the good fight of faith and consider Him who endured much from sinful man when weary. May the Lord grant us His Spirit of Love and compassion for people like us as we reach out and seek and save that which is lost………..
